Passport Applications Accepted at the Blackshear Place Library
Apply for a passport at the library! This service is available only at the Blackshear Library.
Blackshear Library also provides a passport picture service that is in compliance with the U.S. Department of State.
Please be advised: We only accept checks and money orders as payment for the passport service.

No appointment is necessary. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We only accept checks and money orders as payment for the passport service.
Please be aware: we are a walk-in service. We frequently have a large number of applicants, and it is sometimes necessary to close the waiting line before the passport office closes.

Note: Blackshear Place Library does not process DS-82 (renewal) applications. Visit the State Department website to learn if you are eligible to renew your passport by mail.
If you are planning to travel in 14 days or less, you must apply for a passport in person at a U.S. Passport Agency or Center. You must make an appointment in advance by calling 1-877-487-2778.

Amounts vary depending on the product you need. See the chart below. Department of State passport fees are payable by check or money order ONLY. A separate check, payable to the Department of State, is required for each application.

HALL COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM FEES
HCLS fees may be paid by all forms of payment, this includes: Check, Cash, Card, and Apple Pay.
Payments to the library and the US State Department cannot be combined into one check or money order.
