2023 Summer YAC Volunteering
Applications for the Summer Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Volunteer program are available from March 15-April 15 annually! If you are aged 14 to 18 and are interested in a summer volunteer position at one of our libraries, this is for you!
Summer YAC is a great opportunity for teens to make new friends, learn new skills and build volunteer hours while having fun at the library.
The program runs from May 30-July 30, 2023. All of our locations have volunteer availabilities this year.
Summer YAC volunteers are scheduled an average of 6-10 hours each week at their chosen library and can help with a variety of activities, from STEM programs and storytimes to shelving, craft projects and more.
If you would like to apply, please complete the online application here.
Applications are available from March 15 to April 15 each year. All applications must be completed no later than April 15 in order to be considered. Check your email! You will be contacted to schedule a phone interview soon after that. If you are selected for the program you will also need to read, print, and sign this Volunteer Expectations form and bring it with you to your Summer YAC orientation in May.
