Just for Teens!

Hall County Library System maintains separate fiction collections for middle school students in all branches. Materials for high school students are in the adult collections.

During the school year, occasional special activity programs are held at the Gainesville or Blackshear Place branches for students in middle and high schools. Check this website for information about these programs or call 770-532-3311, ext. 129.

During the summer, students entering middle school and up may participate in the teen version of Summer Reading Program (SRP). During SRP, special activities limited to this age group will be held alternating weeks at the Gainesville Branch (770-532-3311, ext. 129) Blackshear Place Branch (770-532-3311, ext. 151), and Spout Springs Branch (phone number yet to be set).

Summer Reading Program 2009 will run from June 1 through July 24, 2008. Register in any library branch beginning June 1. Also, take a look at the photo pages to see some of the activities for 2008, 2007, 2006, and 2005.
