Be a seed hero by preserving agro-biodiversity. Learn about a project at the University of North Georgia's Appalachian Studies Center in which community members help students collect, bank, and share heirloom seeds and their related ethnocultural memories. These seeds originated in home gardens and are grown in the heirloom seed demonstration garden at the Historic Vickery House, headquarters of the UNG Appalachian Studies Center in Dahlonega, GA. Seeds are never sold, but we enjoy sharing them!
