Hall County Library System values its relationship with area
schools in educating young people and promoting reading as a
lifelong activity for pleasure and continuing education. We
want to provide students and teachers with materials and services
that will enhance this relationship while remaining true to
our mission.
The links below are
forms and information for school media specialists to use with
the teachers in their schools and should be submitted by the
media specialist only. The school is responsible for books checked
out on the school card (kept by the library), so having the
teachers come to the media specialist to submit the form allows
him/her to keep track of how many books are checked out, which
teachers are using them, and if they are returned to us on time.
Before books may be checked out on a school card, the principal
must send on school letterhead a letter stating that s/he understands
the school is responsible for lost, damaged, or overdue books.
- The forms (Microsoft
Word format) may be printed, filled out, signed, and faxed
to the library by the media specialist (fax number on form)
OR
- The form may
be filled out and attached in an e-mail from the media specialist
to astice@hallcountylibrary.org.
Requests sent by someone other than the media specialist will
not be honored.
