What is the Jump Start Reading Club?
The Jump Start Reading Club is a school-year Program for children 0-5 years old who have not yet learned to read on their own. The program runs from the day after Labor Day in September through the day before the Memorial Day holiday in May.

How do we join?
Come to any Hall County Library location and get a reading folder for your child. Each month read 5 titles of your choice to him/her and return to the library by the last day of the month to receive a special sticker for the folder. You must read all 5 titles to get the sticker for the month. When the month is over, start reading for the next month whether or not you completed the month before.

If you receive stickers for 6 of the 9 months, a special gold seal will be placed on the front of the folder.

Please note:
You may read any stories that appeal to you and your child. There are no required subjects or titles.

When a month is over, the library branches will no longer have stickers for that month. To get a sticker for a certain month, you must return for it by the last day of that month.

Jump Start Reading Club is made possible through a generous donation from Friends of Hall County Library System
